Bridge Inspection Engineer

Bridge Inspection Engineers focus on the structural integrity of a bridge, checking for fractures in concrete, rust on metal supports and other problems that affect the overall condition of the bridge.

Project Engineer

Project Engineers plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives are accomplished within a prescribed time frame and budget parameters. Project engineers manage daily operations including the reviewing of project proposals or plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resource. They also confer with project staff to outline work plans and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scopes of authority.

Senior Project Engineer

Senior Project Engineers lead and manage structural design efforts of major highway, rail and movable bridge projects. Senior project engineers perform studies and special tasks such as vessel collision, pier protection, seismic, fatigue, emergency response, design build, waterfront and ferry facilities. They also provide supervision and mentoring of entry-level engineers as well as work collaboratively with other engineers on projects, clients, subconsultants, contractors, fabricators, and others to provide full range of services.
