Automotive Technology Internship Program

The Automotive Technology Internship Program’(ATIP) offers the student one of two degrees including an 18 credit hour Certificate of Mastery or an Associate of Applied Science Degree. This program requires the student to work in an independent shop, a franchise, fleet shop, or non-GM Dealership. This gives the student a wide range of opportunities in the required industry on-the-job training part of the program. Students receive classroom and lab experiences with an emphasis on hands-on training. Courses are designed to give students maximum experience in the lab targeting success in the workplace and ASE certification preparation. This program is available for students to start at any time of the school year and is offered as both day and night classes.
