Green Build Tech Academy (Engineering and Construction)

We run a Green Build Program ( Engineering and Construction) from 9th through 12th grade. All students complete 2 school wide projects annually. The fall project is green innovation and the spring project is an invention to make the world a better place. Many of our students focus on transportation with their green projects. For electives, our 9th graders take (Environmentally Responsible) Construction 1, Engineering Technology and Drafting/Sustainable Design. Our 10th grade take Construction 2 and Engineering Design. 11th graders take a 3 hour construction block and personal finance. 12th grade students take Building Maintenance (3 hour block). There are many related 11th and 12th grade electives as well including: Bike repair, small engine, Automotive, Interior Design, Machining, Manufacturing, Civil Engineering, finish carpentry, etc.
