Transportation Fuels and Green Energies

Weber Institute is a public high school that utilizes the career academy model to prepare our students for career and college. We are uniquely located near the port of Stockton, railroad terminal, Stockton airport, and interstate 5 in the Central Valley of CA, about 80 miles from San Francisco. The transportation academy is a state of the art facility and accredited by NATEF and AYES. We provide instruction and hands-on experience in all the automotive systems. We also work with hydrogen fuel cells to power the electronic systems and develop biodiesel to power engines. In addition, students learn CAD and 3D printing and are enrolled in a UC approved automotive engineering course.

We have thought of adding a transportation logistics course in the past. We have met with personnel from the Stockton Port, but unfortunately nothing has materialized. We would like to expand our programs in the logistics of transportation.
