Traffic Engineering Manager

Job Description

Traffic Engineering Managers plans and conduct special traffic studies and prepares comprehensive reports, costs for traffic control installations, including traffic signals, signs, striping and markings. Engineering Managers also provide technical coordination on traffic signal related projects, including inspection and field liaison with contractor personnel during construction and installation, technical information to other City departments, consultants, private developers, engineers, contractors and the public. This position also includes performing calculations, design, checking and some drafting in connection with traffic signals, channelization and other traffic related projects. Finally, Coordinates traffic and transportation projects and issues with other public agencies.

$51,000 - $82,000

Education Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or Data Sciences
