The International Business Academy has it's roots in Mark Keppel's 2005 Exemplary Career Technical Education award from the California State Department of Education, and a 25 year history of awarding Certificates of Achievement to graduates who complete a sequence of business courses. The goals of the academy include instilling a sense of pride in students with multiple language skills while exposing them to global career opportunities; and, that business skills will be an essential part of each of their careers and their lives.
