A career in traffic incident management involves detecting, monitoring, and responding to various traffic management data sources and incidents to maintain safety and efficiency on local roadway systems. Traffic incident personnel analyze or assess traffic events like construction zones, special events, congestion, traffic incidents, evacuations, or traffic equipment malfunctions.

TMC Supervisor

Job Description: TMC Supervisors act as an authorized representative of the permit holder with the sole job responsibility of Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS). Supervisors develop of temporary traffic and pedestrian control plans, which must address all aspects of the transportation system including pedestrian facilities and illustrate ADA compliance with all affected pedestrian facilities.
